Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in Kraków is seeking a Master’s-educated Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for large-scale petrochemical and refinery projects. You will prepare documentation, perform calculations, and develop layouts while coordinating with the Project Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams.

Fluency in Polish and English, 3+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of ACAD/Dialux are required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer in plant engineering.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with the Project Lead Engineer.
  • Fluency in Polish and English (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in MS Office, ACAD, Dialux; ETAP knowledge is beneficial.
  • Eligible to work in the European Union and in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for petrochemical and refinery projects.
  • Prepare project documentation including one line diagrams and substation layouts.
  • Perform electrical calculations (short circuit, power balance, cable, lighting, grounding).
  • Develop layout drawings covering cable routing, lighting, and grounding.
  • Prepare installation typicals and material take-off.
  • Collaborate with Project Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
  • Design electrical systems for the petrochemical and refinery projects
  • Prepare project documentation including project specifications, one line diagrams, protection and control schematic diagrams, terminal connection diagrams, substation layouts
  • Perform electrical calculations such as short circuit calculations, power balance, cable calculations , lighting intensity calculations, grounding and lightning protection calculations
  • Develop layout drawings (covering consumer location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding)
  • Prepare Installation typicals and Material Take-off
  • Contribute to your professional growth with a clear path towards developing into a Senior Electrical Design Engineer
  • Collaborate and coordinate effectively with the Project Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams
Are you a MATCH?
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer within a plant engineering company
  • Proven ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with the Project Lead Engineer
  • Fluency in both Polish and English (written and verbal)
  • Computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, ACAD, Dialux
  • Knowledge of ETAP software or other power system analysis software is highly beneficial
  • Eligibility to work within the European Union
  • A strong desire to thrive and collaborate in a multicultural team environment
  • Experience in hazardous area classification is a significant advantage
  • Candidates must be already eligible to work in Poland
