Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in Kraków invites an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for petrochemical and refinery projects. You will prepare documentation such as one-line diagrams and substation layouts, and perform critical electrical calculations.

Join a multinational team, collaborate with a Project Lead Engineer, and develop towards a Senior Electrical Design Engineer role. Eligible to work in Poland with a hybrid work model offering three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a plant engineering environment.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with the Project Lead Engineer.
• Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD and Dialux.
• Knowledge of ETAP or similar power system analysis software is highly beneficial.
• Eligible to work in the European Union.
• Experience with hazardous area classification is a plus.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for petrochemical and refinery projects.
• Prepare project documentation including specifications, one-line diagrams, protection & control schematics, terminal diagrams and substation layouts.
• Perform electrical calculations such as short-circuit, power balance, cable sizing, lighting and grounding calculations.
• Develop layout drawings covering location, cable tray routing, lighting and grounding.
• Prepare installation typicals and material take-offs.
• Collaborate with the Project Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support growth towards Senior Electrical Design Engineer role.
