Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in Kraków is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to electrical system design for petrochemical and refinery projects, reporting to the Head of Electrical for E&C Europe. You will design electrical systems, prepare documentation, perform calculations, develop layout drawings, and collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, compliant installation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a plant engineering company.
• Fluency in Polish and English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of ETAP or other power system analysis software is beneficial.
• Eligible to work within the European Union.
• Experience in hazardous area classification is advantageous.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for petrochemical and refinery projects.
• Prepare project documentation including specifications, one line diagrams, protection and control schematics, terminal connection diagrams, substations layouts.
• Perform electrical calculations such as short circuit, power balance, cable and lighting calculations, grounding and lightning protection.
• Develop layout drawings covering consumer location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding.
• Prepare installation typicals and Material Take-off.
• Collaborate with the Project Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams.
