Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a EHS Manager located in Tczew, Poland.
What a typical day looks like:
- Implement and oversee the company's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead, develop and mentor the EHS team, fostering high performance, engagement, team building and continuous professional growth.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE and Recycling policies, procedures, standards and employee awareness programs.
- Monitor workplace conditions, identify risks, recommend corrective actions and coordinate their implementation to improve safety and environmental performance.
- Manage documentation related to workplace accidents, occupational diseases, HSE inspections, measurements and risk assessments.
- Support the design of new production workstations and develop health and safety guidelines for machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with employee representatives, occupational health physicians and key stakeholders to enhance workplace safety and working conditions.
- Coordinate external and customer audits related to HSE, Environmental Protection and Recycling, while sharing best practices across Flex manufacturing sites.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- University degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Protection, or a related field, or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety, environmental protection, and fire protection regulations, as well as ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
- Good command of English and Polish, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
- Ability to work independently, make key decisions, demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and high ethical standards.
- Strong teamwork and team coordination skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a demanding and stressful environment.
- Internal auditor certification would be considered an advantage.
