Pentoz is seeking an Ecwid Developer to design, customize, and integrate Ecwid stores across multiple websites and CMS platforms. You will build seamless shopping experiences and develop custom features for retail, fashion, health, tech, and services clients.

Work with designers, marketers, and backend developers to ensure performance and smooth storefront functionality. 1–3 years of Ecwid experience and strong embedding/API skills are expected. This is a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with Ecwid or similar ecommerce platforms.
• Familiar with Ecwid API and embedding techniques.
• Ability to integrate Ecwid with WordPress, Wix, Joomla, or custom sites.

Responsibilities

• Set up and customize online stores using Ecwid.
• Embed Ecwid stores into CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix, Joomla, etc.).
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping, and third-party tools via Ecwid APIs.
• Configure product catalogs, categories, variants, coupons, and checkout flows.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve load times, and optimize UX.
• Support product launches and post-deployment performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements.

This is a remote position.

The Opportunity:

At Pentoz, we specialize in building dynamic, scalable, and user-friendly eCommerce experiences across platforms. As an Ecwid Developer, you will be responsible for designing, customizing, and integrating Ecwid stores into various websites and content management systems. Your role will involve building seamless shopping experiences, developing custom features, and supporting businesses across retail, fashion, health, tech, and services.

You will work closely with designers, marketers, and backend developers to ensure smooth functionality and performance of Ecwid-powered storefronts.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Setting up and customizing online stores using the Ecwid eCommerce platform
• Embedding Ecwid stores into CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Joomla, or custom websites
• Integrating payment gateways, shipping methods, and third-party tools via Ecwid APIs
• Configuring product catalogs, categories, variants, coupons, and checkout flows
• Troubleshooting store-related issues, improving load times, and optimizing user experience
• Supporting product launches and maintaining store performance post-deployment
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions

This Role Is For You If:

• You have 1–3 years of experience working with the Ecwid platform or similar eCommerce platforms

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience in developing custom widgets or features for Ecwid
• Knowledge of Ecwid App Market, RESTful API usage, or Zapier integrations
• Experience working with CRM, email marketing platforms, or Google Analytics
• Background in UI/UX design or A/B testing for conversion optimization
• Portfolio of Ecwid-powered sites you've worked on
