Job summary

VML Enterprise Solutions in Poznań, Poland, seeks a Programmer Manager to lead multiple delivery teams, drive complex software programmes, and collaborate with UK teams. Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple teams across different workstreams (min ~20 people).
• Experience in Account Director tasks such as QBRs, Steering Committee, budget management.
• Software development programme management with eCommerce experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and release management.
• Experience with eCommerce hosting and frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud/on-prem infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering ecommerce migration/re-platform.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with multi-vendor management and overseeing third parties.
• Experience in managing people and budgets in an ecommerce environment.
• Familiarity with code management tools (Git, Bitbucket, SVN).
• Interest in Jenkins, Git, or release pipeline tools.
• Excellent risk management skills.
• 3+ years in Agile environments; experience moving from Waterfall to Agile.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban; strong leadership of PMs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for delivery across the programme.
• Manage client relationship and Account Director responsibilities.
• Analyse risks, produce programme reports for management.
• Maintain satisfaction, quality, and performance standards at programme start and ongoing.
• Create and implement standard ways of working at programme start and throughout lifecycle.
• Track dependencies and develop programme-level plans.
• Ensure progress updates and changes are reflected across workstreams.
• Provide guidance to project managers within and outside your account.
• Maintain resource plans and track end dates with functional leads.
• Track and fulfil resource requests, internally or externally.
• Build relationships with VML team members and client stakeholders.
• Work with client to realise their programme vision and align governance.
• Define programme-level governance with client; manage third-party vendors.
