Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies in Warsaw is seeking an experienced D365 Functional Consultant to join an international team responsible for implementing and maintaining Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, design end-to-end processes, run workshops, document solutions, and support change requests while collaborating with IT and the finance domain.

The role offers hybrid work with up to 8 remote days monthly.

Qualifications

• Previous project implementation experience with D365FO (Customization, Testing, Documentation).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end business processes.
• Facilitate decision discussions considering strategy, drivers, requirements and technologies.
• Establish an overview of business requirements and help design the best solution.
• Design and document the business process.
• Facilitate workshops with the business to analyze and design D365 solutions and address gaps detected during POC.
• Perform solution demos to business users.
• Document, propose and discuss options and implications on change requests and bugs.
• Work with technical personnel to ensure business needs are reflected in specifications.
• Help the team resolve incidents/bugs.
• Perform testing in non-production environments.

Job description

In the role of D365 Functional Consultant, you will join an international team to implement and maintain business processes in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. You will be joining an already well‑established team that is mainly based in the Warsaw office, which currently consists of 13 highly skilled experts.

The D365 Functional Consultant will engage in decision‑making discussions related to agility, business value, and business processes as well as supporting end‑customers in BEC and banks. The team is working very closely with the business side, therefore having good communication skills with an application maintenance mindset would also be key to succeeding in this role.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, while also offering the flexibility to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Oleg Sokolov.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Design end-to-end business processes
• Facilitate and accelerate the decision process, considering the business strategy, drivers, requirements, and challenges, while utilizing the newest and best technologies relevant to the solution proposed.
• Establish an overview of the requirements defined by the business and help design the best possible solution.
• Design and document the business process.
• Facilitate workshops with the business to analyze and design solutions for D365 application, and handle gaps detected during POC (proof of concept).
• Perform solution demo to the business users.
• The document, propose and discuss solution options, recommendations, and implications on change requests / bugs with your colleagues and users.
• Working with technical personnel to make sure that the business needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions that are required.
• Help the existing team with solving incidents/bugs.
• Perform testing in our non-production environments.

Required qualifications:

• Previous project implementation experience (Customization, Testing, Documentation)
• D365FO Application experience (Project and accounting, Human resources, AP, AR and etc.)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• A customer‑oriented approach
• Willingness to learn and be challenged
• Ability to work independently, yet be part of a team
• Finance industry experience (preferred but not essential)
