Job summary

ZF Group in Poland invites a Domain / Business Center Controller to lead the operational planning across the domain, coordinating costs, headcount, revenue and investments to align with business targets. You will develop long-term financial scenarios, support strategic decisions with data-driven insights, and deliver monthly performance reviews with clear, actionable reporting.

Fluent English is required; Polish is a plus, and experience with SAP S/4, SAP BW and SAP Analysis will help you

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 6+ years in controlling/financial planning or business partnering.
• Strong ability to interpret financial data and present insights.
• Fluent in English; Polish is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4, SAP BW and SAP Analysis.

Job description

We are looking for a new colleague to our international team. Key purpose: Cost, GMP, FTE, Investment and other controlling business partner to Domain and Business Center.

Apart from Poland, we are also open to other ZF locations.

What you can look forward to as Domain / Business Center Controller:

• Lead the Operational Planning process across the domain, coordinating inputs for cost, workforce, income, and investments, and ensuring alignment with business targets,
• Contribute to the Strategic Planning cycle by preparing long-term financial scenarios and supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights,
• Collaborate with domain stakeholders and reporting units to align planning assumptions, validate figures, and ensure consistency across planning cycles,
• Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts, integrating key financial and operational drivers to support agile and forward-looking business steering,
• Deliver monthly performance reviews, including variance analysis and commentary on key metrics, to support proactive financial management,
• Provide tailored reporting and ad-hoc analysis to domain leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights,
• Ensure structural accuracy and data consistency in reporting systems (e.g., FACT, SAP BW, ZP1), acting as a key contact for system governance,
• Coordinate organizational changes and structural updates within the domain and business center, ensuring compliance with internal standards and operational continuity.

Your Profile as Domain / Business Center Controller:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; strong foundation in controlling and financial mgmt.,
• Minimum of 6 years in a controlling, financial planning or business partnering role,
• Proven ability to interpret financial data, generate meaningful insights and present findings in a clear and structured way to both financial and non-financial stakeholders,
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently across functions and levels,
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4, SAP BW, and ideally SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Polish will be beneficial,
