Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a professional to drive digital transformation across the transformer business. You will connect domain experts with software teams to translate business needs into practical digital products that deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities include providing transformer domain knowledge, defining user stories, and supporting solution validation, while collaborating with stakeholders to improve engineering processes and adoption of digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in transformer engineering, testing, manufacturing, or service.
• Knowledge of transformer technologies and engineering processes.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformer domain expertise for digital products and solutions.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and specifications.
• Define acceptance criteria and support solution validation.
• Collaborate with software teams and business stakeholders.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Ensure alignment between delivered solutions and business needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes.
• Contribute to the adoption of digital solutions across the organization.
