Job summary

Displate is seeking a strategic content marketing leader to own our blog editorial strategy and drive organic growth. You will manage our content agency, brief and review external partners, and write pieces when needed.

The role includes coordinating link-building and AI-visibility projects, and using GA4, Search Console and Ahrefs to measure impact and steer next steps. You’ll bring 3+ years in content marketing or SEO, strong editorial judgement, and experience briefing specialists.

• Strong editorial judgement and ability to brief and edit others.
• Experience managing agencies or freelancers across multiple projects.
• Working SEO knowledge including link-building to brief specialists.

• Track AI tools and how they describe Displate; coordinate projects for better AI/SEO visibility.
• Improve SEO on product pages and craft SEO copy; train internal teams on writing for search.
• Utilize GA4, Search Console and Ahrefs to measure impact and decide next steps.

Job description

You'll own how Displate and our products are discovered and represented in search engines and AI tools. You'll split your time between running our blog and coordinating link-building and AI-visibility work. Most of the execution sits with external partners, and you'll brief them, review their work and keep them on track. Your goal is to turn organic traffic and fandom interest into product consideration and sales.

Your responsibilities

• Owning the blog's editorial strategy and managing our content agency through the full cycle: topic research, briefing, reviewing and publishing.
• Writing blog pieces yourself when needed.
• Briefing and managing our link-building agency, and reviewing its work against agreed targets.
• Tracking how AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity describe Displate and our products.
• Coordinating projects that improve how we appear on the third-party platforms those AI tools draw on.
• Improving SEO on product pages and writing SEO copy.
• Training internal teams on writing for search.
• Using GA4, Search Console and Ahrefs data to measure impact and decide on next steps.
• 3+ years in content marketing, SEO or organic growth, including running a blog or other editorial content with commercial goals.
• Strong editorial judgement: you brief clearly, edit other people's work and know when a piece is ready to publish.
• Working SEO knowledge, including link building, that's deep enough to brief specialists and judge their work.
• Experience managing agencies or freelancers across several projects at once.
• A working understanding of how AI search and LLMs surface brands.
• Comfort with GA4, Search Console and Ahrefs, and with using the data to decide what to do next.
• Strong organisation skills, so many briefs and partners move forward without chaos.
• You communicate confidently in English, both in writing and in conversation.
• Nice to have: a passion for pop culture, gaming or fandoms.
