Job summary

OBI Smart Technologies, a joint venture between OBI and Reply Group, seeks a Data Analyst focused on Digital Commerce to transform web analytics and commercial data into actionable insights. You will build standardized KPIs, develop data pipelines, and enable self-service analytics in Looker, while scaling AI-driven analytics within the platform.

You will collaborate with Digital Business, Marketing, Product, and Category teams to uncover growth opportunities across marketplace and retail

Qualifications

• Completed degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Statistics, Marketing, or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in digital analytics, preferably within e-commerce or digital business environments.
• Strong knowledge of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Webtrekk and understanding of tracking methodologies.
• Excellent skills in SQL and/or Python, ideally working with raw tracking or large-scale analytical datasets.
• Experience with BI and data platforms such as Databricks and Looker.
• Strong communication skills in English and Polish, with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Openness to work in hybrid model and visit the Katowice office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze digital commerce performance across marketplace and retail models, identifying trends, interdependencies, and growth opportunities.
• Design and implement standardized KPIs and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytical workflows using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
• Build and enable self-service analytics solutions, including dashboards and reporting tools in Looker.
• Implement and scale AI-driven analytics use cases such as conversational analytics within the data platform.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and complex analytical projects combining tracking data with additional data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights.
