Job summary

Commerzbank AG is looking for a Business Expert in Accounting & Controlling (Data & Reporting Apps) to join our Łódź team. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions and work in an agile, cross-functional environment with international teams.

You will translate requirements into user stories, participate in testing, and ensure deliverables meet accounting and controlling standards. Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in international accounting and/or controlling.
• Basic SQL knowledge and willingness to develop expertise in the database area.
• Financial background in accounting and/or controlling.
• Strong analytical skills and structured, methodical work.
• Handling, analysis and preparation of large data volumes.
• English language proficiency.
• German language skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work in an agile environment with cross-functional and international teams on functional and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear concepts, user stories, acceptance criteria and implementation-ready specifications.
• Discuss requirements with business users and developers using accounting expertise.
• Test and evaluate the results of implemented solutions.
