Job summary

Euroclear seeks a Digital Asset System Architect (Platform Focus) to define and evolve a coherent, scalable Digital Asset Platform. You will be the technical authority, aligning strategy with delivery while ensuring security, governance, and reusability across initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and external partners to drive platform standards and enable teams to deliver efficiently in a hybrid, cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in platform architecture, preferably in cloud-native and distributed systems environments.
• Strong knowledge of DLT / digital asset platforms / blockchain ecosystems.
• Proven experience defining and governing architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, event-driven systems, and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong expertise in security-by-design, identity models, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic delivery constraints.
• Proven ability to guide multiple teams without direct authority.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define & Own Platform Vision: target architecture and long-term vision for Digital Asset Platform.
• Drive Platform Evolution: evolve APIs, data, integration, and security capabilities.
• Architecture Governance & Assurance: enforce platform principles and patterns.
• Act as Platform Design Authority: review designs and ensure coherence.
• Enable Teams & Guidance: provide reusable patterns and best practices.
• Standardisation & Reuse: define reference architectures and golden paths.
• Platform Integration & Ecosystem Alignment: align components with ecosystems.
• Security, Compliance & Resilience by Design: embed security and resilience into decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: work with product, engineering, CISO, and partners.
• Innovation & Technology Watch: stay ahead of industry trends and integrate relevant innovations.
