Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Digital Asset System Architect (Platform Focus) to define and evolve the Digital Asset Platform, ensuring a coherent, scalable, and secure architecture across initiatives. You will act as a technical authority, guiding engineering teams, product leaders, and partners toward a unified platform vision.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in platform architecture (cloud-native, distributed systems).
• Strong knowledge of DLT and digital asset platforms.
• Proven experience defining and governing architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Strong API-driven and event-driven architecture understanding.
• Experience with Azure, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
• Security-by-design, identity models, and compliance familiarity.
• Ability to guide multiple teams without direct authority.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define & Own Platform Vision: define target architecture and long-term vision.
• Drive Platform Evolution: evolve platform capabilities (DLT, APIs, data, integration, security).
• Architecture Governance & Assurance: ensure adherence to principles, validate designs.
• Act as Platform Design Authority: review designs for coherence across initiatives.
• Enable Teams & Provide Guidance: offer reusable patterns and best practices.
• Standardisation & Reuse: define reference architectures and golden paths.
• Platform Integration & Ecosystem Alignment: align components and ecosystems.
• Security, Compliance & Resilience by Design: embed security/compliance into decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence: align with product, engineering, GTS, CISO, external providers.
• Innovation & Technology Watch: monitor trends and integrate relevant innovations.
