Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and implement integrations between the Digital Asset Platform and third-party solutions, fintechs, market infrastructures, data providers, or SaaS platforms.

You will collaborate with platform architects and engineering teams to build reusable integration patterns, enforce security, and ensure scalability, reliability, and fast onboarding of partners in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering with focus on integration and APIs.
• Knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL) and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and modern DevOps (CI/CD, IaC).
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating third-party solutions, SaaS, or external services.
• Security best practices (OAuth2, encryption, identity management).
• Ability to work with platform standards and architecture guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to debug complex integration issues.

Responsibilities

• 3rd Party Integration Delivery: design, build, and maintain integrations between the Digital Asset Platform and external systems.
• Platform Enablement & Connectivity: implement reusable connectors, APIs, and adapters.
• Apply Platform Standards & Patterns: follow architecture principles and golden paths.
• API & Event-Driven Development: develop APIs, event streams, and integration services.
• Security & Compliance: embed security controls and ensure compliance with platform requirements.
• Collaboration with Engineering & Architects: translate designs into robust implementations.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: ensure functional, performance, and security testing.
• Operational Readiness & Support: production-ready integrations with observability.
• Continuous Improvement & Automation: leverage CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Technology Watch & Innovation: explore new integration technologies and patterns.
