Job description

The client creates AdTech solutions for promoting the products of leading international retail brands. These solutions are applied on customers' sites and third-party sites of publishers. The tools developed by the client’s technical specialists help customers understand their audience better, which helps conduct retargeting advertising campaigns and increasing the conversion rate for publishers. This is achieved through a combination of more accurate personalization of advertising content and algorithms for displaying ads at the most appropriate time, based on the behavior of the end-user. The client’s headquarters and onsite developers are in New York. DataArt’s specialists have already implemented several projects for the client. The specialist will join our rapidly growing DevOps team, where you will be responsible for the client’s production system, as well as the creation and automation of cloud applications by multiple cloud service providers

Responsibilities

• Participate in the work and improvement of the entire life cycle of services, from creation and design to deployment, operation, and revision
• System design consulting, CI/CD process development, capacity planning and launch reviews
• Maintain services post-launch by measuring and tracking availability, latency, and the overall system health
• Scale systems through automation and evolution of the system through changes that improve reliability and speed

What you should have

• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in writing scripts in Bash and Python
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment tools such as Helm or Ksonnet
• Proficiency with AWS or GCP (networking, IAM, managed services)
• Proficiency with at least one CI/CD cloud platforms such as CircleCI, Gitlab or Spinnaker
• Compassion, empathy, and ability to work collaboratively with others
• Should be a visual communicator and able to communicate complex processes using simple language
• Java, AWS, Clean Code and SOLID principles
