EPAM Systems in Łódź, Poland, seeks a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to guide architecture, migrate data, troubleshoot, and monitor Google Cloud Platform deployments. You will implement CI/CD, IaC, and scalable cloud solutions, with focus on GKE, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• GCP services such as GKE, CloudBuild, Secret Management, Container Registry.
• Background in high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes clusters and apps.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Experience creating Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML configurations.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with Python-based applications debugging.
• Experience with enterprise AI integration (Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI).
• Designing and operating AI agent frameworks and RAG architectures.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity).
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher).

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to support clients in implementing Google Cloud Platform products. In this role, you will assist with architecture guidance, data migration, troubleshooting, and monitoring while ensuring best practices are followed. Responsibilities

• Clarify technical requirements and project scope
• Engage in active communication with customers to ensure project alignment
• Support the adaptation of customer applications to a Cloud-Native approach
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
• Design and optimize cloud applications for scalability, including CDN, caching, compute optimizations, and load balancing setups
• Assist in deploying and configuring GCP services such as identity management, network architecture, application security, and billing
• Document technical decisions, designs, and processes for future reference
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications, including network connectivity and cluster performance
• Share knowledge and participate in training sessions to develop team expertise

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
• Qualifications in GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), CloudBuild, Secret Management, and Container Registry
• Background in managing high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes clusters and applications
• Proficiency in Version Control systems including GitHub
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
• Skills in creating and managing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML configurations
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity
• Familiarity with diagnosing and debugging Python-based applications
• Experience with enterprise AI integration using AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Azure AI Services
• Expertise in designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic AI frameworks
• Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and implementation
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity, or similar
• Understanding of modern Generative AI technologies, LLMs, and enterprise AI solution design
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
