Job summary

A leading global precision instruments supplier in Warsaw is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support development teams with release management and DevOps tools. Responsibilities include maintaining development tools, automating processes, and solving technical issues. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a DevOps role, fluent English skills, and a basic knowledge of programming or scripting. The work model is hybrid with flexible hours and additional benefits.

• Minimum of 2 years DevOps Engineer experience.
• Wide understanding of DevOps practices.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming and/or scripting language.

Overview

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities: DevOps Engineer role in our company is a combination of 2 areas: release management and DevOps tools support. We reached the moment, where ongoing projects and the size of the team determined a clear need to have dedicated, specialized in pre-production deployments role, who will be supporting development teams on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining development tools and infrastructure (CI, CD, AzureDevOps).
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
• Make sure pre-production environments are updated.
• Software releases to testing and staging environments.

What You Need to Succeed

• Minimum of 2 years DevOps Engineer experience.
• Wide understanding of DevOps practices.
• Fluent English.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming and/or scripting language.
