NTT DATA in Warsaw seeks an experienced DEVOPS Architect / Team Lead to oversee design, deployment and operation of Red Hat OpenShift environments while leading a team of engineers. You will ensure service delivery excellence and proactive problem resolution for client IT infrastructures.

The role blends engineering with developing management responsibilities. Polish language skills (B2+) are required, and hybrid work is offered to support delivery across client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration preferred.
• Nice to have Red Hat / LPIC certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and deployment of Red Hat OpenShift.
• Provide operational leadership to a team delivering service offers.
• Investigate and solve client problems and incidents.
• Assist with bids and proposals and ensure smooth handover Sales to Delivery.
• Ensure infrastructure at client sites is configured, installed, tested and operational.
• Investigate root causes of incidents to prevent recurrence and improve service.
• Assist with analysis of data to gauge client service levels and maintain IT site plans.

Your day at NTT DATA The DEVOPS Architect / Team Lead is a engineering role and a developing management role, responsible for systems integration and ensuring the provision of a service to clients ensuring that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

The primary objective of this role is to deploy of Red Hat OpenShift and ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions and the achievement of client satisfaction through assisting with the planning, building and supporting of technology solutions.

The DEVOPS Architect / Team Lead, Technical Services focuses on ensuring all lines of deployment and support for complex incidents, requests, events and/or problems through the effective management and leadership of a team of Engineers and/or Specialists.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing design and deployment of Red Hat OpenShift
• Provides operational leadership team to a team of individuals accountable for service offer management
• Investigates and solves client problems
• Assists with the preparation of bids and proposals to clients and remains up to date with deals in the pipeline to ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Delivery
• Ensures that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational
• Investigates all line support calls and identifies the root cause of incidents, events and problems to ensure proactive future management
• Assists with the analysis of statistics and other data to determine the level of client service provided
• Contributes to and assists with the maintenance of the information technology site plan

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• Seasoned knowledge of technical services, IT service management, and related technologies
• Cluster Kubernetes (OpenShift, RKE2)
• GitOps-based deployment using ArgoCD, GitLab
• Knowledge about secret and credentials management application (HashiCorp Vault, Infisical)
• Ability to develop automation scripts (Ansible, Terraform, CloudInit) and/or CI/CD scripts (GitLab CI, Tekton)
• Ability to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
• Seasoned knowledge of technical services concepts, IT service management (ITSM) practices, and industry best practices
• Seasoned understanding of various information technology domains, including infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, application management, networks, data center and collaboration
• Good client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Displays the ability to facilitate presentation of technical and complex matters to a diverse audience
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Information Technology or related field.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Business Administration preferred.
• Nice to have Red Hat / LPIC certification

Required experience:

• Solid experience in similar role within a related global technology environment.
• Solid experience dealing with clients and managing service levels.
• Solid stakeholder engagement experience at all levels in the organization.
