Job summary

OneOcean is seeking a Development Team Leader (Python) to guide a skilled development team. You will lead by example, drive engineering excellence, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, scalable software while fostering a collaborative culture.

You will collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and other leaders to align technical direction with business goals. Strong leadership and Python expertise are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 2+ years leading Scrum teams with strong Agile knowledge.
• Strong Python and object‑oriented programming expertise.
• Experience with .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development and testing (unit/integration/acceptance).
• Familiar with SQL/NoSQL (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to lead by example.

Development Team Leader (Python)

As a Team Leader will be responsible for guiding a development team. You will lead by example, driving engineering excellence, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable software. fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture. Working closely with other Team Leaders, Architects, and stakeholders. You will help shape technical direction, streamline delivery processes, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Your Voyage Ahead:

• Lead a team of Python developers, ensuring alignment on goals, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Mentor and coach team members to support their technical and professional growth.
• Drive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and testing.
