Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Development Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, support product industrialization, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery across manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes leading product introductions, handling engineering changes, and ensuring documentation and processes meet high standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
2-3 years in a similar engineering role within international manufacturing.
Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical/manufacturing docs.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and CI methodologies.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform under pressure.
Practical project management experience.

Responsibilities

Optimize and continuously improve manufacturing processes using Lean principles.
Provide technical expertise to production teams and implement corrective actions.
Develop knowledge by promoting best practices and standardized methods.
Lead new product introductions, engineering changes, and launches with quality, cost, and delivery in mind.
Coordinate production areas to ensure process stability and tool availability.
Create and maintain technical docs, drawings, work instructions, and specs.
