Job summary

The KLS Martin Group is seeking a Developer (m/f/d) for personalized IPS implants in Olsztyn. You will design and develop patient-specific implants, convert data to digital 3D models, and support production with additive manufacturing technologies.

Requirements include technical training or engineering/medical technology degree and strong attention to detail. There is potential for multi-month training at a KLS Martin site in Mühlheim, Germany.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training as a technician or a university degree in engineering or medical technology.
• Experience with additive manufacturing is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a safety-critical medical device environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design personalized implants (IPS®).
• Prepare and manage required documentation.
• Operate and support systems/equipment for implant production (convert data to 3D models, create models with additive manufacturing).
• Optimize processes for design and manufacturing of implants.
• Ensure quality assurance of personalized implants.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Development and design of personalized implants (IPS®)
• Preparation and management of required documentation
• Operation and support of the necessary systems and equipment for implant production (converting patient-specific data into digital 3D models, creating models using innovative additive manufacturing systems, and supporting the production of personalized implants)
• Optimization of processes required for the design and manufacturing of implants
• Desire to work within the safety-critical field of medical implant design, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work under patient-critical deadlines
• Opportunity to undertake multiple months training at a KLS Martin production site, in Mühlheim (Germany)
• Quality assurance of personalized implants
• Completed technical training as a technician with several years of professional experience, a university degree in an engineering or medical technology field, or an equivalent qualification and professional background relevant to the position
• Practical experience in the field of Additive Manufacturing would be an advantage
• Ability to communicate in a friendly, confident, and persuasive manner with project partners both inside and outside the company
