Job summary

Bosch is seeking a procurement planning professional to align demand with sales and supply planning across Bosch plants. The role focuses on creating delivery plans, maintaining optimal inventory levels and improving customer service metrics.

The candidate will work with international suppliers and product managers, using Maestro and other planning tools, and will engage in continuous improvement projects within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement planning.
• Strong analytical skills; organized with excellent time management and follow up.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with international supply base.
• Target and service oriented.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Demand alignment with sales manager and supply planning from Bosch plants.
• Create delivery plans.
• Daily contact with the sales department, product managers and suppliers to fulfill orders and maintain inventory levels.
• Analyze key metrics for customer service level and identify improvements.
• ABC Classification of parts and optimization of planning parameters (safety stock, lead time, min lot size).
• Coordinate material movements and act as key user of planning tools.

• Key user ability for planning system
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
• Education: completed university studies in business economics, logistics, business informatics or a comparable subject
• Experience and Knowledge: experience in building and maintaining a network of international marketing, sales and customer contacts and experts; understanding of planning processes; experience in dealing with Big Data in Excel, Power BI and other IT applications
• Languages: very good communication skills in written and spoken English
