Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Data Science team developing AI-based solutions for the global retail and restaurant industry. You will work on Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, creating applications that utilize LLM and VLM models in real operational environments.

You will design, develop, and maintain AI-based solutions, optimize ML pipelines, validate results, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers on MLOps and production support.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial experience in Data Science or ML.
• Hands-on ML model development experience.
• Proficient with Pandas and NumPy.
• Polish language fluency and English at a communicative level.
• Based in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining applications based on LLM and VLM.
• Building and optimizing AI/ML pipelines to improve performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Implementing, monitoring, and supporting machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Validating model results and ensuring the reliability of AI systems.
• Collaborating with data scientists and engineers on MLOps and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participating in the development of solutions utilizing Computer Vision and Generative AI for clients in the retail and restaurant sectors.
