Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking experienced data scientists to transform ambiguous business questions into deployable models. You will frame problems, wrangle data, and build validated models while explaining results to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data science or applied analytics.
• Strong Python skills across pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
• Solid statistics: hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design.
• Experience with cloud/data platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, or Palantir.
• Ability to communicate analytical results clearly to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions: define hypotheses, choose metrics, and select the right modeling approach.
• Explore, clean, and prepare data using Python (pandas, NumPy).
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and recommendation.
• Design and analyze experiments: A/B tests, statistical hypothesis testing, and causal analysis.
• Work with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry.
• Communicate findings through clear visualizations, dashboards, and narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML/AI engineers to move models to production.
• Monitor deployed models for drift and retraining.
