Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking data scientists who turn ambiguous business questions into usable models and analyses. You’ll frame problems, wrangle data, and build/validate models using pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn, communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll work with enterprise data platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Palantir Foundry, and cloud services, delivering real impact on production systems and business decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data science or applied analytics.
• Strong Python skills across the standard data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Solid statistical foundations: hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and define hypotheses and metrics.
• Wrangle and prepare data from structured and semi-structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and recommendation.
• Design and analyze experiments: A/B tests, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data availability and quality, and with ML/AI engineers to move models to production.
• Monitor deployed models for drift and retraining needs.
