Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking data scientists who turn ambiguous business questions into models and analyses that get used. You’ll frame problems, wrangle data, build and validate models, and explain results to non-technical stakeholders.

Work with the Python stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry, deploying analytics on cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data science or applied analytics.
• Strong Python skills across the standard data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Solid statistical foundations: hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud/data platform and its data science components.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and define hypotheses.
• Explore, clean, and prepare data using Python and structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune machine learning models for various tasks.
• Design and analyze experiments with A/B tests and causal analysis.
• Work with enterprise data platforms and deploy analytics in production.
• Communicate findings with clear visuals and narratives for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML/AI engineers to move models to production.
• Monitor models for drift and retraining requirements.
