Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a data scientist to translate business questions into analytic solutions using Python and the standard data stack. You’ll wrangle data, build models, and explain results to non-technical stakeholders while operating within enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry.

The role emphasizes experimentation, production-readiness, and collaboration with data engineers and ML engineers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data science or applied analytics with deployed models.
• Strong Python skills with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
• Solid statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Experience with at least one cloud/data platform and its data science components.
• Ability to communicate results clearly to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and hypotheses.
• Wrangle and prepare data from structured and semi-structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, and recommendations.
• Design experiments and perform causal analysis to support decisions.
• Work with enterprise data platforms and move models toward production.
• Communicate findings via visuals and narratives to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to ensure data quality and deployment.
