Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring a data scientist to turn ambiguous business questions into models and analyses used in the real world. You will frame problems, wrangle data, build and validate models, and explain results to non-technical colleagues.

You’ll work with the Python data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and enterprise platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry, deploying analytics on Azure, AWS, or GCP. Fluent English and Polish are required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data science or applied analytics.
• Strong Python skills across the standard data stack.
• Solid statistical foundations: hypothesis testing and regression.
• Knowledge of cloud/data platforms and their data science components.
• Ability to communicate results clearly to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions with hypotheses and metrics.
• Explore, clean, and prepare data using Python and structured sources.
• Build, validate, and tune ML models for classification, regression, forecasting, and recommendations.
• Design and analyze experiments including A/B tests and causal analysis.
• Work with enterprise data platforms and deploy analytics on cloud platforms.
• Communicate findings with clear visualizations and narratives.
• Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to move models to production.
• Monitor models for drift and retraining needs.
