Job summary

Kingfisher is hiring a Data Protection professional in Kraków to manage SARs and GDPR requests. The role supports the Data Protection Partner and Legal team, handling inquiries from customers and employees with meticulous attention to compliance and timelines.

The position offers a hybrid work model with an inclusive, growth-focused environment and opportunities to participate in training and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• English language at least B2.
• Experience handling consumer matters and inquiries.
• Experience managing high-volume caseloads.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process Subject Access Requests and GDPR data requests promptly and accurately.
• Monitor GDPR mailbox and coordinate with Data Protection team.
• Redact SARs and support Data Protection Advisors as needed.
• Engage with data subjects and representatives on non-complex requests.
• Assist Data Protection Partner and legal team with records management and archiving.
• Help manage legal risk and escalate as appropriate.
• Support ad-hoc data protection initiatives by the team.

Responsibilities:

• Processing Subject Access Requests (“SARs”) and Data Requests from customers, employees and third parties, dealing with them promptly and in compliance with GDPR. Operating a diary management system to ensure legal deadlines are met
• Checking Data Protection mailbox on a regular basis to ensure allocated matters are picked up, actioned, and escalated as appropriate to the Data Protection team
• Redacting SARs including supporting the Data Protection Advisors with redacting as and when required
• Liaising with data subjects and their representatives on non-complex data requests and SARs
• Supporting the Data Protection Partner where appropriate.
• Assisting the Data Protection team in legal records management and filing, and archiving
• Managing legal risk and seeking guidance where appropriate.
• Supporting the Data Protection Partner in ad-hoc data protection/Legal team initiatives

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of English (min. B2)
• Experience in dealing with consumer matters including communicating with customers (both written and verbal)
• Experience in dealing with high volume caseloads
• Organisation, accuracy, and eye for detail
