Job summary

Bpxglobal is seeking an experienced Data Product Analyst to translate business priorities into structured data requirements, backlogs, and validated product decisions. This hands-on role collaborates with product owners, governance, and data teams across the EU time zone.

You will define data requirements, map sources, and perform data profiling to ensure quality and alignment with business rules, while supporting prototype demonstrations and iterative refinement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Product Analyst or similar
• Strong ability to translate objectives into detailed data requirements
• Hands-on in epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and data mappings
• Experience with data models, APIs, data pipelines and data quality
• Proven backlog refinement and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine an integrated backlog across data foundations and use cases
• Translate objectives into use-case canvases, epics, user stories, and data requirements
• Define data requirements: sources, entities, grain, keys, access, quality
• Work with product owners, data engineers, governance and stakeholders
• Analyze data using SQL and profiling to ensure quality and alignment
• Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps early in delivery
• Support prototyping, UAT and iterative refinement
• Prepare decision-ready materials for governance forums
• Ensure traceability from objectives to testing and acceptance
• Create a structured forward backlog with ownership and gates
• Develop use-case canvases, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Document data and KPI requirements and gaps
