Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw, within HelloTech, is seeking a Data Engineer to own end-to-end data lifecycle across supply chain operations. You will design and scale high-throughput batch and real-time data pipelines, harmonizing data from procurement, fulfillment, and logistics to enable data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with data scientists and operations analysts, applying advanced modeling and real-time analytics using AWS, Spark/PySpark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer with production data delivery.
• Fluency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on a modern cloud data infrastructure.
• Strong data modeling expertise (dimensional modeling, relational architecture, event-driven data streams).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and AWS.
• Excellent communication to bridge technical implementation with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data lifecycle from architecture to production operations.
• Build and scale robust batch and streaming data pipelines across procurement, WMS, and logistics.
• Model supply chain domains into clean analytical datasets for dashboards and analytics.
• Develop real-time data integrations for inventory, order status, and carrier tracking.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Operations Analysts to operationalize forecasting and waste reduction models.
• Ensure data quality, freshness, and lineage for dashboards and KPIs.
• Work with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and Databricks in a cloud environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team.
