Job summary

HelloFresh Warsaw, within HelloTech, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to extend and operate our behavioral data platform. You will design scalable pipelines, govern schemas, and enable reliable experimentation across global markets.

You will work with Snowplow, Databricks Unity Catalog, and AI-enabled tooling, collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to ship high-quality data products and drive data-driven decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer delivering production data.
• Fluency in Python and dbt; building large-scale data pipelines on a modern cloud stack.
• Strong SQL skills for data retrieval, manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and AWS.
• Experience with Generative AI tools to support development and documentation.
• Excellent communication with product managers, analysts and stakeholders.
• Bias to ship; ownership mindset; ability to work across domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate platform components behind behavioral data and experimentation infrastructure.
• Leverage AI to improve capabilities of the data platform.
• Own reliability, scalability, schema governance, and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with domain teams to evolve the semantic layer and metric definitions.
• Instruments, monitors, and improves platforms in production.
