Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw, within HelloTech, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to extend and operate the platform behind behavioral data and experiments. You’ll work on event pipelines, Databricks Unity Catalog, and semantic layer integrations, designing scalable systems and governance to enable reliable insights.

You’ll collaborate with product teams and data scientists, own data quality and production readiness, and leverage AI tools to enhance capabilities across modern cloud stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with production data delivery.
• 2+ years on data platform systems such as semantic layers and catalogs.
• Fluency in Python and dbt; strong cloud data stack experience.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and AWS; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data platform components behind behavioral data and experiments.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and experimentation.
• Own schema governance, event standards, lineage and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts and data scientists to deliver data products.
