Job summary

WPP Media Limited in Warsaw, Poland, is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Open Intelligence team. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines handling large data volumes in a high-scale environment, with a focus on reliability and performance in a hybrid work setting.

You should be proficient in Python/Go/Scala, Spark, and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes) and eager to apply AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery while ensuring data governance and privacy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Scala.
• Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark).
• CI/CD, version control, and testing best practices.
• Experience with GCP and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Interest in AI coding assistants to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and propose technical solutions; develop and review code.
• Collaborate with Product, Analysts and Data Scientists to add features and translate requirements into production components.
• Contribute to data governance and quality frameworks to ensure accurate data throughout its lifecycle.
• Identify and address technical debt and inefficiencies in the data platform.
• Stay curious, explore new tools and technologies to move faster and smarter.
• Share knowledge in dedicated sessions and stand-ups.
