Webellian Sp.z o o is hiring a Data Engineer to join a large cross-functional team building a Central Data Platform for a global insurer. You will craft scalable data pipelines on Databricks, optimize ETL/ELT workloads, and prepare data for machine learning and decision-support tasks.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data scientists and engineers, adherence to best practices, and a DevOps mindset. Hybrid work in Warsaw, with English language usage across a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Python, SQL and PySpark.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines on a modern cloud data platform.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data models.
• Prepare high-quality training datasets for ML models.
