Job summary

BEC's Data Product Center in Warsaw is transforming its data ecosystem as part of the Data Modernization Program. You will design and deliver scalable data solutions on Azure, AWS, and Databricks, working with product owners and engineers to turn business needs into reusable data products.

The role focuses on modernizing the data warehouse and building end-to-end pipelines while ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a data engineer or in a data-focused role.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Apache Spark, including PySpark.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with performance optimization.
• Experience building data pipelines from APIs, Kafka, SFTP, databases.

Responsibilities

• Modernize data solutions by migrating to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data-processing pipelines.
• Develop reusable data-product frameworks and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and banking stakeholders.
