Webellian is building a large-scale Central Data Platform for a leading insurer, delivering advanced analytics, reporting, and insights. You will join an international team of specialists and help design scalable data architectures, data models, and reliable pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and storage layers.

The role emphasizes Databricks, Python, PySpark, dbt, and cloud-based data platforms on Microsoft Azure, with DevOps practices and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Strong hands-on Databricks experience and data pipeline design.
• Advanced Python and PySpark skills; SQL proficiency in relational databases.
• Experience with dbt and cloud data platforms (Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a large-scale Central Data Platform architecture.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption.
• Integrate data from multiple systems into a consistent data platform.
• Create scalable data models aligned with analytics needs and business requirements.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Databricks, Python, PySpark and dbt.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, security and performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts and BI developers; translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support automation and infrastructure deployment using GitHub and Terraform.
