Job summary

FedEx Group is recruiting an Industrial Engineer – Data & Workforce Solutions Engineer (Global Trade Services) to advance data-driven decision making across Europe. You will build scalable reporting, support data ingestion, and enhance data quality while enabling AI governance and workforce management insights through Power BI.

In this role you will collaborate with Operations, Technology, Data & AI, and Compliance teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, process engineering, or business intelligence development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing reporting and analytics solutions.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data solutions that support operational reporting and workforce management.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions.
• Support data ingestion, integration, and data quality initiatives across multiple systems.
• Partner with Operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to AI governance, data governance, and compliance initiatives.
• Create operational performance metrics supporting productivity, service, compliance, workforce management, and customer experience.
• Design and support data solutions that enable key Workforce Management capabilities including Forecasting & Scheduling, Time & Attendance Tracking, Performance Management & Analytics, Compliance Monitoring, and Employee Self-Service reporting.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Support testing, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate closely with customs experts, operations teams, product owners, and technology partners to understand business problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Present technical recommendations and analytical findings to business stakeholders.
