Job summary

Promise Group is seeking a Data Architect / Team Lead to steer our Data & AI Team. You will design Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions, lead a 5-person Data Engineering team, and work with customers through presales, architecture, implementation and support. Strong leadership and a deep technical foundation are essential.

Hybrid or remote work model is available. Excellent Polish and English communication are required, along with hands-on experience in modern data platforms and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Data & Analytics architecture.
• Knowledge of Lakehouse and Data Warehouse design.
• Advanced SQL skills and ETL/ELT experience.
• Python or PySpark to understand and troubleshoot solutions.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Data integration from various databases, files, and APIs.
• Dimensional modelling knowledge (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Leading workshops and working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Design modern Data architectures based on Microsoft Fabric, Azure and hybrid/on-prem environments.
• Lead Data Engineering team: 5 engineers, provide direction and coaching.
• Collaborate with customers, Solution Sales, PMs and delivery teams across project lifecycle.
• Prepare high-level designs, roadmaps, SoWs, estimates and technology recommendations.
• Ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.
• Oversee technical discovery, architectural workshops and risk management.
