Job summary

Promise Group is a leading Microsoft partner in the CEE region, seeking a Data Architect / Team Lead to shape data architecture and lead a Data Engineering team. You will work with customers, Solution Sales, and project teams from presales to delivery, delivering scalable, secure data solutions.

Ideal candidates bring strong MS Fabric and Azure experience, advanced SQL, Python/PySpark skills, and excellent Polish and English communication.

Qualifications

Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Data & Analytics architecture.
Strong knowledge of Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architecture and design.
Advanced SQL skills and practical ETL/ELT experience.
Python or PySpark to understand, review, and troubleshoot engineering solutions.
Experience with Power BI.
Excellent communication skills in Polish and English.
Experience leading technical workshops with customers.
Experience in mentoring or managing technical people.

Responsibilities

Shape Data architecture for modern solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and hybrid/on‑prem environments.
Lead a Data Engineers team, provide direction, feedback and growth support.
Collaborate with customers, Solution Sales, Project Managers, and delivery teams from presales to delivery.
Provide technical oversight: design reviews, code reviews, QA, risk management.
Prepare estimates, scope boundaries, and Technology recommendations; drive architectural decisions.
