Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. seeks an experienced Testing Lead to oversee application and analytics testing across data pipelines, BI, and AI solutions. You will design test strategies, validate new product enhancements, and drive automated testing initiatives in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

The role requires 3+ years leading testing teams, strong English communication, and expertise in SQL-based data tools, Databricks, and Azure. Remote-friendly with Warsaw/Gdańsk offices.

Qualifications

• Fluent command of English.
• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field.
• Min. 3 years of experience managing testing team members and executing test plans.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, test case documentation, and execution of custom-developed applications.
• Technical expertise with query-based database tools and relational SQL databases.
• Proven expertise with Databricks and Azure Cloud Services, and experience in driving automated testing initiatives.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies and processes; works well in a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing application and analytics testing; provide direction on testing tools, test case documentation, and execution of test plans.
• Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for data pipelines, analytics models, and AI solutions.
• Perform hands-on testing to validate new product/project enhancements in data, BI, and analytics environments.
• Support project teams in setting up detailed test cases for Lakehouse, DWH, and Analytics platforms.
• Lead regression and performance testing of existing analytics solutions and AI models.
• Provide assessments of software and data solution readiness, including AI model validation and accuracy testing.
• Design and implement Test Data Management solutions based on defined frameworks.
• Support automated testing solutions for operational efficiencies in data pipelines and analytics.
• Participate in design and testing sessions across enterprise teams.
• Update and maintain test concepts with strong focus on strategy and data governance.
• Review third-party designs and implementations for quality and consistency with testing standards.
• Establish testing standards and patterns for Munich Re analytics deployments.
• Request and manage test environments and oversee setup of new environments.
• Provide SME troubleshooting for data quality, system integration, and analytics issues.
• Convey findings and recommendations to product development and business teams.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align testing with strategic objectives.
