Job summary

Aon in Kraków is seeking a DACH Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance initiatives across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The role offers hybrid or remote work aligned with local smart working policies and reports to the Legal & Compliance function.

You will partner with business leaders and Risk & Compliance professionals to embed a strong compliance culture, provide practical guidance, and oversee regulatory updates and governance activities across the DACH region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in compliance, risk management or regulatory function.
• Ability to translate regulations into practical guidance for business
• Strong analytical and stakeholder leadership skills
• Fluent communication with internal partners and regulators

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advice to business and support teams across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on policies and operations
• Support regulatory reporting, governance activities and maintenance of compliance registers
• Build relationships with internal teams and external regulatory bodies
• Prepare updates and reports for senior leadership, boards and committees
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, processes and training across the business

What The Day Will Look Like

As a DACH Compliance Manager, you will work closely with business leaders, support functions, and Legal & Compliance colleagues to help ensure regulatory compliance across the DACH region. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing practical guidance and helping embed a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing compliance advice and guidance to business and support teams across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Supervising regulatory developments and assessing their impact on policies, procedures, and business operations
• Supporting regulatory reporting, compliance reviews, governance activities, and maintenance of compliance registers
• Building positive relationships with internal partners and external regulatory bodies
• Preparing compliance updates and reports for senior leadership, boards, and committees
• Finding opportunities to strengthen controls, processes, training, and compliance awareness across the business

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Proficiency in German and English, with the confidence to communicate professionally with a wide range of partners
• Experience in compliance, risk management, legal, insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical business guidance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder leadership skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail

Preferred: Knowledge of German, Austrian, or Swiss regulatory frameworks, experience working with regulatory authorities, and professional compliance or insurance-related qualifications.
