Job summary

Sarens is seeking a Functional Analyst for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to drive global ERP implementations and ongoing improvements. You will bridge Finance and IT, ensuring processes and reporting are translated into a scalable D365FO solution.

You will collaborate with finance stakeholders and IT, support rollouts across regions, and travel up to 30%. The role offers a permanent contract, continuous learning, and opportunities within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• 5+ years as Functional Analyst in D365 FO.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting.
• Experience in cross-functional and international teams.
• ERP migrations experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

Your main goal? Driving the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations across our organisation. You support the business and stakeholders with a system that truly works. You act as the bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring that financial processes and reporting are correctly translated into D365FO.

In this role, you work on the implementation and continuous improvement of D365 Finance & Operations at group level. You support rollouts and migrations from AX 2009 and other legacy ERP systems towards Microsoft D365. You are part of the ERP team and collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders.

Your job in a nutshell:

• Analyse business processes together with local and regional key users
• Guarding the global finance setup (chart of accounts) and help implementing rollouts with the local finance legislation in mind
• Define functional and performance requirements at group level
• Create functional designs, interfaces and test documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external implementation teams to resolve questions and align on solutions
• Configure and test the system and develop end-user documentation
• Execute and manage data migrations from legacy ERP systems to D365FO via DMF
• Train local key users and support end-users
• Resolve functional, performance and user-related issues during roll-outs and daily use
• Escalate critical issues to the Group ERP Manager when needed
• Participate in core team meetings and rollout activities
• Maintain strong relationships with local key users and ensure consistency across implementations
• Stay up to date with Microsoft Dynamics developments and apply new features to improve processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in D365 Finance & Operations
• Strong understanding of Finance Processes (experience in accounting, controlling or financial reporting is a strong asset)
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
• Experience with ERP legacy system migrations is a plus
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus
• Willing to travel occasionally (+/- 30%)
