Job summary

Cisco Krakow is seeking a Software Engineer to support backend services for the Partner Hub. You will work under senior engineers to build scalable, production-grade backend solutions and gain hands-on experience with our stack.

The role focuses on Java, Node.js, or Python, RESTful APIs, and collaboration with frontend teams. This is a hybrid position with opportunities to grow across the Cisco Webex portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 0–3 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent internship/project experience).
• Foundational knowledge of backend development concepts and server-side architecture.
• Strong desire to learn and apply new backend technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of backend features, focusing on service logic, API development, and data processing.
• Support the development of backend services using Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate backend services with user-facing interfaces via RESTful APIs.
• Participate in team design discussions, code reviews, and testing activities to ensure high-quality, scalable code.

• A proactive desire to learn how to debug and resolve production issues in a distributed system.
