Sinoboom Poland Sp. z o.o. seeks a detail-oriented Credit Control Specialist to manage credit risk, oversee accounts receivable collections, and ensure adherence to credit governance policies.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Control Specialist to oversee customer credit risk, manage accounts receivable collection, and ensure strict compliance with credit governance policies. In this role, you will balance commercial sales support with prudent risk management—ensuring policy adherence from day one while proactively driving overdue collections and protecting the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Credit Compliance & Documentation
Audit and review incoming sales documentation against established Credit Approval Standards & Required Documents prior to order processing.
Ensure full compliance with internal credit policies, trade credit insurance terms, and regulatory requirements before onboarding or extending terms.
Maintain clean, organized credit files and thorough audit trails for all customer accounts, guarantees, and risk decisions.
2. Collections & Customer Communication
Proactively chase overdue invoices via phone and email to minimize outstanding balances and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding payment schedules, billing discrepancies, and account reconciliations.
Partner with customer accounts payable teams to ensure timely resolution of invoice disputes and secure payment commitments.
3. Order & Shipment Governance
Monitor daily credit risk lists to evaluate and approve or hold pending sales shipments/orders.
Ensure no orders are released to accounts exceeding their credit limits or harboring critical overdue balances without required authorizations or increased financial guarantees.
Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, and Sales teams to communicate order status and expedite held releases once risk conditions are resolved.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Direct experience in Credit Control, Credit Risk Analysis, Accounts Receivable, or relevant commercial roles (e.g., Inside Sales, Sales Support, Commercial Operations with direct exposure to credit/AR workflows).
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional precision and thoroughness when auditing sales contracts, financial guarantees, credit files, and compliance documentation.
Analytical & Risk Assessment Skills: Strong numerical and financial literacy. Comfortable calculating financial exposure ratios, risk metrics, and evaluating credit reports or credit insurance agency scores (e.g., Coface ratings).
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to balance a supportive commercial mindset with firm credit compliance, delivering diplomatic yet firm risk assessments to both internal sales teams and external clients.
Problem Solving: Proactive attitude toward resolving billing disputes and navigating complex, sensitive account situations.
