Job summary

Wella Company in Łódź is seeking a Finance Controller Co-Pilot to partner with the GM and leaders across Marketing, Sales, HR and Admin, focusing on A&P and SG&A costs to help meet profit targets.

You will develop monthly forecasts, budgets and long-range plans, build Power BI dashboards, and support FP&A processes while ensuring compliance and process improvement across the Southern Europe Cluster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Oracle EPM).
• Strong SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly rolling forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans for Advertising & Promotion and SG&A costs.
• Own forecast submission processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Job description

The Finance Controller Co-Pilot is a strategic finance partner to the Southern Europe Cluster, supporting the General Manager and functional leaders across Marketing, Sales, HR, and other departments. This role focuses on the financial control and reporting of Advertising & Consumer Promotion (A&CP) and Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) costs, which are critical for delivering the cluster’s profit targets.

The position plays a key role in the financial forecast process, including data preparation, reporting, and system uploads. Fluency with tools such as SAP (including BW) and Power BI is essential.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Drive preparation of monthly rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans for Advertising & Promotion and Selling, General & Administrative costs.
• Own forecast submission processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts and make recommendations.
• Coordinate and challenge input assumptions from budget owners.

Controlling & Reporting

• Manage Advertising & Promotion and Selling, General & Administrative -related month-end close processes: accruals review and reporting.
• Ensure cost accuracy and compliance through cost center reviews and accounting validation.
• Develop Power BI dashboards to support stakeholder visibility and decision-making.
• Support the Southern Europe FP&A team in preparing reporting packs and performance commentary.

Business Partnering

• Act as the finance business partner for local Finance, Marketing, Sales, HR, and Admin budget owners.
• Promote budget ownership and accountability across departments.
• Support decision-making through ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and risk/opportunity reviews.

Stewardship & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and SOPs for Advertising & Promotion and Selling, General & Administrative areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning, tracking, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with the Southern Europe Cluster team on cost optimization and standardization initiatives.
• Support global standardization projects and Sap Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation for Advertising & Promotion and Selling, General & Administrative planning and analysis

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Oracle EPM).
• Strong skills in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience working with Data Lakes, BW environments and large financial datasets is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate large datasets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and systems integration.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
