Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Control Room Operator for our client in Germany's modern logistics network. You will monitor material flow, oversee automated warehouse systems, and collaborate with maintenance and WMS specialists to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires at least 3 years in warehouse logistics, WMS knowledge, and fluent English and German. On-site work in Germany is expected, with opportunities to engage across cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse processes.
• Fluent in English (B2) and German for on-site operations in Germany.

Job description

For our client implementing projects in modern logistics and warehouse automation, we are looking for a Control Room Operator. You will join a team responsible for overseeing logistics processes at the client’s logistics facilities in Germany, in modern, automated distribution centers. Your task will be to monitor material flow, analyse operational events, and collaborate with technical and maintenance teams to ensure warehouse continuity and efficiency. If you have experience in a warehouse environment, know WMS systems, and communicate fluently in German.

Your tasks

• Monitoring the flow of materials and logistics processes in automated warehouse systems
• Operation and ongoing control of systems supporting the functioning of the distribution center
• Analysis of alarms, operational incidents, and reports affecting warehouse continuity
• Coordinating activities between operational teams, maintenance technicians, and WMS specialists
• Escalating operational issues and supporting repair and optimization activities

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse logistics, intralogistics, or a similar operational role
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse processes
• Experience in coordinating operational activities and collaborating with technical teams
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Very good command of German enabling fluent communication in the work environment
• Willingness to work on-site in Germany

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Control Room or Operations Center
• Knowledge of WCS, MFC, or SCADA systems
• Experience working in automated high-bay warehouses
• Knowledge of warehouse automation and material flow
