Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract or quantity surveying within property, housing, construction or maintenance environments.
• Strong contractor and contract management experience.
• Experience reviewing valuations, costs and variations.
• Good understanding of contractual compliance, KPIs and service-level agreements.
• Experience managing planned and reactive works programmes.
• Knowledge of damp, mould and condensation management is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience dealing with disputes and resolving contractual issues.

Responsabilités

• Manage contractors and oversee overall contract performance.
• Review valuations, costs and payment applications for accuracy and value for money.
• Manage variations, contractual issues and disputes through to resolution.
• Monitor contractor KPIs, performance standards and service levels.
• Ensure contractual and statutory compliance across relevant works and services.
• Take responsibility for larger and more complex works and projects.
• Support the delivery and management of the PPM programme.
• Coordinate Damp, Mould and Condensation (DMC) cases and monitor actions.
• Carry out inspections and monitor quality/progress of works.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors and teams to ensure delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve contractor performance and cost control.
• Maintain records and produce reports on contract performance, expenditure and progress.
