Hitachi Energy in Poland seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead initiatives that boost efficiency, quality, and productivity at our Isolation & Components Factory.

You will drive waste elimination with Lean tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement ITM and CI systems to raise organizational maturity. This role offers a dynamic manufacturing environment with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Production Engineering, or Process Optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
• Excellent command of English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by eliminating waste using Lean methodologies.
• Lead optimization projects focused on cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Implement and develop ITM and Continuous Improvement systems to raise maturity.

The opportunity

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will lead initiatives that have a direct impact on operational efficiency, quality, and productivity within our Isolation & Components Factory.

How you'll make an impact

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating waste using Lean methodologies and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Lead and support optimization projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and productivity enhancement.
• Implement and develop the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) and Continuous Improvement systems, with a strong focus on increasing organizational maturity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement Lean solutions across the organization.
• Monitor, analyze, and report process performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to teams in project management, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Promote a strong quality culture and actively influence organizational decisions and ways of working through continuous improvement initiatives.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Production Engineering, or Process Optimization.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications (e.g., Lean Expert, Lean Master, Green Belt, Black Belt) are considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of English & Polish, both written and spoken.
